It's not that easy being green...

1. Have fallen behind on my self-imposed 'oh, I should really try and post more this year', having finally gotten over Third Star only to be attacked on two separate fronts by Cabin Pressure. Not that that's a bad thing. Could Martin be any more adorable? I think not. Speaking of which, I'm happy enough to ask on the comms - or just do without -  ( Read more... )

Hey, it's about all I have to offer in place of actual responses to shows and stuff I have not seen. :) Well, I'm current on House after skipping a bunch of episodes, but find myself oddly quiet about it.

I know... the end of House feels like such a huge thing - for me, anyway. Maybe 90% of the people on my f-list I met through House, and even though half of them have moved on as well, the show actually finishing makes it weirdly, well, final *g*. I really don't have the same kind of love for the show I used to, and although I'm trying to remain at least vaguely positive about it, it makes me sad.

Ah, well... onwards, fandom! :)

Oh, god, Tom Hiddleston's dancing. lol Thank you for that. Those last few seconds are the best, and yes, I see the Kermit for sure.

I haven't seen House since... I don't remember what season it was, even. Four? Maybe I've seen a bit of 5? What season is it now -- 7? But I think I might watch the finale. I kind of feel like I have to, really. It was such a big part of my life for a couple years there, and like you said, it's where I met probably most of my LJ friends. It'll be weird to see it finally, actually end. I just might be moved to sadness by it. But since I don't know what's going on plotwise or characterwise right now, I'll probably just be lost, lol.

Hee, I'm a complete sucker for men who can sing and/or dance, so I mock with complete adoration *g*

LOL, Season 8 I think! I don't think you'll be particularly lost; 'people don't change', after all, so it's not like you won't recognise the key characters. Seriously heavy Wilson plotline going on right now - it may be worth tuning in just to see how far they're going to go...

Seriously? LOL, thank you so much, I know you're generally terribly busy, I wouldn't have thought you'd have time. But I'm very grateful! Just a quick skim-through would be lovely. I'll send it on in a little bit :)

Yes, I complain about this a lot, lol. I don't think I've written any. Aussie fandoms - few and far between. I can think of DAAS and Chaser maybe and then... yeah *g*

I thought you might like to know that I am finally downloading Cabin Pressure. Right now. A friend has asked me to write a radio play adaptation (!!) of a Philip K. Dick novel, so I'm planning to spend the next couple weeks getting my brain into radio drama mode. Also planning to relisten to some of the old Sherlock radio plays, and of course some Hitchhiker's Guide... Any other recommendations?

And such a great opportunity to show off your skills; all the best with it! I'm afraid I don't really listen to radio drama, so I can't offer anything on that front, since you already know about Hitchhiker's. But a google through BBC radio or something would probably give you a few leads :)

I really hope you enjoy Cabin Pressure as much as I do *g*

Yay! (I had to look up that emoticon, and I love it!)
I am flattered that you think I have any skills to show off...
But yeah, I am crazy excited. There's a good chance the play will actually be produced... live, with audience participation for the sound effects! I'm totally high about it, and I'm really hoping that I can build up some momentum to actually complete some other stuff too (like maybe a spec, finally).

Where did you get that cute Martin Crieff icon? I love those.
