Just wanted to let people know that the new patch was just released for the PC RPG Demise (related post here).

Let me know if you have any questions, or want to play on-line together.

FYI, now that I've got a little money in my paypal account, I'll likely be buying it this week (for that whole $20!). I'll let you know when I get it and get online. What are you playing as? I was thinking Troll Ninja, but I might try for a Sorcerer...

I'm playing as a Saris Explorer/Cleric; I figured I'd be good at support and rescuing bodies. I was thinking of later branching into Mage and maybe even something with a little thieving skill.

You could always do both Ninja & Sorcerer (I don't think they have alignment incompatibilities); you may want to start with the Ninja for the better Hit Points.

Well, bought and downloaded the game... now I just need to figure out how to play online with no available servers. Hmmm... :(

I wonder if, since the transition over, if the query option screwed up.

Under "Multiplayer" click on 'New" and paste in: demise.dougis.com:26000; it's the one I'm usually on and is pretty reliable & well stocked.
