finally got out for the first semi-serious ride of the season yesterday (about 35km). hopefully your new tire will let you do more of that too.

I hope to take a longer ride this week/weekend in addition to commuting. What I've realized is, I should probably have replaced the front tire too. The tire I bought is supposed to be fairly road-proof, though I need to still be concerned about punctures in the front tire!...

2) ssh project sounds very cool -- I'm surprised nothing like this has been done before, actually.

3) Have you tried to reset the iPod back to factory settings and then update again?
