Hrm...I disagree with his article, too...but then, the group I associate with (and perhaps yours, too) might be more open this this guy's.

I wouldn't say that what I post (mostly status updates) on Facebook is a phony, censored, or altered version of me. I do consider that my FB audience contains different people than my Twitter or LJ ones, and try to keep a consistent focus and level of detail on each separate window on my life.

[ETA: at some point I suppose I should provide updates of the form "I'm $dawnvariant[0] here and $dawnvariant[1] there", possibly in profiles and the like. I need to consider personal information and my dissemination thereof in general more carefully.]
