Ugh....

Shit. I knew something weird was going to happen, but this is way more drastic than I could have expected. Richter? Tidale? You guys okay? How about everybody else? Dogoda included.

Man, it's a good thing I decided to pocket that silly hammer they let us keep.

But what do we do now?

Hard to say. Survival would be our first step, obviously. How are our supplies?

Not very good at all. It's unclear how long this... crisis... is going to last, so we probably have to secure more food and water as soon as we can.

Agreed. I hope radiation isn't going to be a concern in this situation. I mean, what with the post-apocalypse look the place is suddenly sporting. Last thing we need is to worry about finding radiation protection to boot.

You got to keep your hammer?

*s-so jealous*

It seems to have been some sort of perk of Dozaro winning the first competition. Though then we fell right behind again...

You must be from Dogoda. Looks like we're working together on this one for a bit.

I guess so.

*she wants that hammer back, it was fun... ... when she wasn't the one getting hit, anyway*

Anyway, we're going to need to go out and get supplies, and this place doesn't look really friendly. What kind of stuff can you do without the hammer?

I had to ditch the Amphitrite, but this won't stop me one iota.

The whatsit? Er, well, as long as you can still help out, that's good.

My ship, I had to leave with Toaster since the water level dropped and - I can feel that it's irradiated.

Got any plans in that head of yours?

Well I --

!

You can detect radiation?!

I think 'drastic' is an understatement. I was expecting some bad guy to come flying out and laughing evilly. I was not ready to be in the middle of the apocalypse.

How'd we even get here, anyway?

That's a good question. The fact the staff didn't seem to be expecting it either worries me. I think we should worry about making sure we can survive first, then set about trying to figure out exactly what the hell happened.

But if we start searching for a way out or what happened straight away, we might be out of here before we even need to worry about survival!

Or we could all conk it before we get a chance. I say take care of the immediate needs first. This place doesn't exactly seem friendly.

... Well, the move's obvious. We need to figure out ways to get clean food and water.

The good news is, I have appropriate spells if we can find an area where my magic's unsuppressed - my pocketbook has a few spells that that can cover a few people. Problem is... Whatever's going on, the water that comes out is murky. If we can find some decent way to make filters...

["ljkadsf -- oh wait, video phone. Man, I need to get that medication pronto."]

That would definitely help. There's a guy who seems to know a lot of about dealing with water. Maybe he can give us some tips. I'm afraid "post-apocalyptic survival" wasn't part of my college degree.

For me, the issue is that at least the district I'm currently in is a Corrupted Magic zone - certain spells don't work right. Specifically, water and ice magic. My best bet is that we need to find filters, or we need to find an area where the water is clean - that'll probably be an area where my magic is not corrupt.

Makes sense. You should probably go on scouting duty, then. I'd offer to come along, but, uh...
