Hey folks, it has been a while. Actually it's been since I've talked about anything since I graduated. Things have had their ups and down here. I honestly can't complain other than I've been broke for the last few weeks. Moebius is a terrific artist. Along with Asterisk, Arzak my introduction to European comics, and I was just blown away by it. I got to know him when he lived in LA. My most intimidating art assignment ever was doing a painting for the Arzak portfolio, published by Tundra in the US about 15 years ago.

Moebius, along with Tintin, were mine as well. I got a copy of the Silver Surfer comic he did years ago and the comments he made in the back were the first time where comics process really started to make sense to me. His comments about line weights, lettering, and even the printing process had a huge effect on me (though I didn't realize it at the time). The man knows how to put together a comic.

Is there a scan of the Arzak painting you did? I'd love to see your interpretation Stan since you're no artistic slouch yourself.
