Christmas is a time when you get homesick - even when you're home.

Christmas isn't really any fun this year. Older and divorced, with a 20 year old son with his own life, we didn't even decorate this year--no tree, no lights. Just a wreath on the door and a few Christmas cards over the fireplace. There's only about four hours a day that we're home together and awake, and no one is here to see decorations anyway. WOW, Deej. That was beautiful. You said no crying on Christmas and then you write this?! *sniff*

I loved the links and, just so you know, I have similar anodised tumblers and the kids use them every day!

As for having less Christmases left than you've had, well, that is ok too. The ones to come have so much potential! Christmas in different parts of the world (I'll save you a seat!) and Grandkids to delight in.. so many possibilities!
