Last night was MetalChrome, a metal night fundraising for The Queer Alternative. In the rather good basement venue of The Star Of Kings, up by King's Cross, with a nicely loud PA system and good decks, helpful bar staff and disconcertinly low stage lights. Metal nights can be a hell of a lot of fun ...

Technical issues at both ends of the journey, with car trouble forcing me to leave most of my CDs in Croydon and a lost-key issue at the venue forcing a reschedule of the sets. As usual, the Bring & Buy offered the opportunity to play a wider variety of tunes than club DJing, with the traditional tag-team session at the end of the afternoon ...
