Kind of, yeah. I mean, I've known for a while, but I didn't want to believe it, you know?

Yeah, I'm starting to realize there seem to be a lot of us out there. I've come across other people who I thought were maybe like me before, but I guess I kind of avoided them until now.

Not really my most sterling moments, I guess.

Dude, don't feel like an idiot, feel afraid. Haven't you seen Harry Potter and The Keeper of the Flame or whatever? Talking diaries will make you kill chickens and cats.

Actually I haven't. But my book doesn't talk. Which we've already determined is something that needs to be fixed.

Okay, so I meant it writes back at you, but it also possesses you and turns into a giant snake, like from Tremors. Seriously. Talking would be pretty sweet, though.

Yeah but how do you know I don't want to be a giant snake?

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks it's pretty freaky. I was starting to think everyone else just flung themselves into it and I was the odd man out.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to affect my daily life much, so jury's still out on the "fun" part. Right now it's just strange and makes me feel like I'm part of some really bizarre cult.

It is rather odd isn't it? I haven't really written anything before, though I've had it for a few years. Now is as good a time as any to start I suppose. Though everyone has had a good time messing with you I see...^_~

On behalf of the newbies I thank you! Though I suppose I ought to at least introduce myself to them soon, though I have no idea what to say, you stole my lines! Kidding of course. Speaking of introductions, Lily Michaels. It's a pleasure to meet you....[whispers] this is where you tell me your name.

Dylan. Dylan Hurst.

And there's no way your introduction could go more poorly than mine, so I think you're safe.

JUST DON'T TAKE IT WITH YOU ON THE SUBWAY because when you start laughing everyone thinks you're a crack hobo.
