D-Boys Community Contests!!!
Hi everyone!!!
uranaikko and I have been wanting to do this for a very long time, but we can finally reveal the first D-Boys Community contests! We've been planning this for a while, but finally got everything 'organized' today ... and we want everyone to know, that there will also be more D-Boys contests within the community every month that feature quizzes, banner contests, icon contests, etc.
We highly encourage EVERYONE to please submit entries to the contest because it'll be a good way for everyone to just have fun and make the community more lively.
There will be two contests this month.
First, we will have a general, make a banner that features ALL the D-Boys contest. Doesn't matter how you do it, but the banner needs to feature all the boys that you see on the D-Boys' main page. The banner needs to be by 800x***pixels (you decide the width - but remember, it shouldn't be a wallpaper). For text, you MUST include the words "D-Boys Community on/at LJ". The winning 'group' banner will be used as the community's layout, so please please submit banners! You can send multiple banners if you would like.
Secondly, we will be having a 'D-Boy of the Month' contest every month. This month's "Boy of the Month" is Endo Yuya. It will also be a banner contest, so please submit a banner with the size of 500x***pixels (again, you decide the width). For text, you can include the words, "Boy of the Month", "January", "2007" and "Endo Yuya". The winning banner will be featured in the community's userpage, so please please submit banners featuring Endo!!! Again, if you want to make more banners for Endo, please do, you can submit as many banners as you want :)
The due date for both banners will be midnight of January 28th, 2007 - which means, on Saturday night (January 27th, 2007), once it hits midnight, entries will no longer be accepted. We apologize for the short notice, but please submit entries! Next month will be better 'planned out' on our part xD But we really wanted to give these contests, especially as Endo is the boy of the month. (Next month will be Yanagi, in case people wanted to start making banners for him too).
EDIT: To clarify which time zone the due date will be in, it will be the pacific time zone, gomen to everyone who was wondering. I completely forgot about time zone issues xD *is baka*
So submit your entries to this post, we will of course, screen your entry so that no one else can see your entries. And then on January 28th, 2007, we will create another entry to allow voting (which will last for another week).
