i have not been keeping up with the torchwood fandom but i do so adore your writing and i know how it feels when it seems the words have just abandoned you
but do not be discouraged!
it will return to you like a lover who has gone to war and heroically returning from battle you two will make massive love everywhere XD

And I totally understand what you mean about the words not coming out right. I have that trouble right now with my current fic for my Time Verse series. *SIGH* Still, perseverance is the key I guess... if we write it, they will come.
