You always write Jim/Bones h/c so well. Probably the best that I read to be more specific. And every time I love it! I particularly loved the addition of Scotty's loyalty in this story. Scotty is such a wonderful (but slightly underrated in fic if you ask me) character! Excellent job. And poor sleepy Jim.

I love that you went with Scotty's POV for this. For starters, Scotty and McCoy's totally non-canon friendship is my new favorite thing. For another, McCoy, I think, would have been too focused on Jim to let us, the readers, get the whole picture - which is that Jim's whole crew loves him. Anyway. I liked this quite a lot.

Funny you caught that. Originally, I tried it with Bones's POV. You're right, I found he was too focused and for this fic, actually limiting.

I was tempted to try Spock, but Vulcan is even harder. LOL. Scotty was a pleasure to write about.

I liked that this was from Scotty's pov. It was sort of intense, yet still sweet with how McCoy took care of Kirk when he was stuck in the vines. That last bit made me laugh and smile.
