I have a very clear memory of exactly where I was when I first heard Ministry's Stigmata. We knew them from the "Every Day is Hallowe'en" days, so weren't expecting anything major with the new album, but when word of their new direction came out, got very excited. That kicked off some of my fave years for industrial - Skinny Puppy was at the height of their powers, and the Ministry/Revolting Cocks factory were cranking out at least one album a month. Awesome times.
Yeah, I got into Industrial exactly in that high point of aggro industrial. 88 through 99 were my Industrial years - especially the earlier years listening to aggressive guitar-driven industrial and the horror stylings of Puppy.
