A couple of reminders:
ABOUT THE ONLINE-EXCLUSIVE SET
-Starting August 20th (which, yes, means as soon as it hits 12AMPST) through September 9th, the Disney Villains Designer Collection begins selling all six of the dolls in a set, ONLINE, for pre-order. This will be the only opportunity to guarantee a purchase of all six dolls. Meaning, if you want four out of six of the dolls, just get all six and trade/sell/give away the ones you don't want. You will save yourself a lot of drama, trust me.
-This is a limited set they're selling, a number I haven't been able to find, but it could be anywhere from 1000 sets to 100 sets
ryn1690 has informed me that number is 700. They will NOT be sold in stores on Monday. This is an online-exclusive opportunity. I'm hoping it's not as bad as it was with the princesses, but the biggest tip I can give you is LOG IN TO EVERYTHING AHEAD OF TIME. Make sure you're logged in to your account at Disneystore.com, and have all your credit card/paypal/shipping information already stored (especially if you're sending it to someone else). You want to be to able to click buttons throughout this process and not enter in anything except maybe a password. Every second counts, and that's if they're not having server issues this time around.
EDIT: Gift cards! They are allowed to be used, but you might run in to problems when it asks 'enter numbers only'. I heard of this problem last year, so maybe they've fixed it now, but it is possible for your card to be applied retroactively and that you can still secure a doll if things get crazy. Just call to make sure your order went through.
-I'm not sure if there's going to be some type of discount for getting all six in a set, but if they're sold at the retail price of one doll times six, you're looking at $480 + shipping/handling.
-Your set will arrive on or around October 15th, which will be after each one is sold individually in September.
ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL DOLLS
-Beginning September 10th and ending October 15th, the dolls will be available in select stores in North America and Europe.
-Each doll will be available for $79.50 US/$87.50 CAN/£50/€65 + Shipping and handling
-One doll will be released one per week. When it gets closer to the release, if we happen to find out the order that they're going in, I'll let you know.
EDIT: The official list is as follows:
Maleficent - September 10th (In-Stores)/September 11th (Online)
Evil Queen - September 17th (In-Stores)/September 18th (Online)
Queen of Hearts - September 24th (In-Stores)/September 25th (Online)
Ursula - October 1st (In-Stores)/October 2nd (Online)
Mother Gothel - October 8th (In-Stores)/October 9th (Online)
Cruella de Vil - October 15th (In-Stores)/October 16th (Online)
-Vouchers will be distributed between 12:00pm and 1:00pm local time. At approximately 1:10pm, at an area designated outside the Disney Store (see Cast Member for specific location), the names of guests selected for the opportunity to purchase a doll will be announced. Please note - It's not a case of them giving vouchers to random people, or people they are familiar with. You have to be 18 and show up between 12pm and 1pm on each Monday to put your name down as wanting a doll. They are putting all the names into one raffle container, and at 1:10pm, they'll come outside the store and randomly draw names until all dolls they have are accounted for. So, if done correctly, no one has an advantage going in, no matter who they know or what time they get there (as long as its between 12 and 1). - OnceUponADream@DisneyPinForum. It's supposed to eliminate lines, camping out, fights, resellers, etc. to make it fair for everyone. The only problem I see with this is if you live near one of the more popular Disney Stores, and there's an hour's worth of people in front of you. That eliminates your chance to get a doll if your don't get your name in before 1PM, so be careful.
-To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, be present to submit a voucher and for voucher selection, and present a valid photo ID to purchase a doll. Each Guest who submits a voucher will be eligible to be selected for an opportunity to purchase a Disney Villains Designer Doll at full retail value. Use of voucher is acceptance of these terms. Limit one voucher and one doll purchase per Guest. Dolls limited to stock on hand and must be purchased immediately following announcement of selected Guests. A minimum of approximately six (6) dolls per participating Store will be available. Employees of The Walt Disney Company are not eligible to participate.
-Beginning September 11th, they will also be available online on
http://disneystore.com,
http://disneystore.co.uk,
http://disneystore.fr and
http://disneystore.de. So, let's say you went to the store on the 10th to get one, but were unable to. This is another opportunity to purchase one. From the sounds of it, they're not expecting them to last longer than the day they're released, so getting one on the 12th might not be an option if you missed the doll on the 10th and 11th. We have to see how it goes first. It took a few dolls for the mania to kick in with the princesses, but I don't know what's going to happen here since everyone knows the popularity of these collections ahead of time. You might have plenty of time in the week to buy one, you might not. Act like you don't and get it as soon as possible. They'll repeat this every Monday until all the dolls are sold.
-Each doll is limited to just 13,000 worldwide, so keep that in mind folks in Europe with time differences who plan on getting them online. It should be early morning for you and late at night for North Americans.
-
A list of participating Disney Stores are here. ABOUT THE REST OF THE COLLECTION
-I'm assuming the sale of the collection (beauty, apparel, home products, etc.) starts Monday as well since I'm seeing "August 2012" and the month is almost out with no collection yet, so
"available at DisneyStore.com in August 2012 and at Disney Store locations nationwide in September 2012" should line up with the release of the dolls.

When this stuff sells out, it doesn't come back. For some reason, the cups and journals are especially desired by guests, so if you're thinking of getting one, do it. It won't be there when you want it later, and you don't want to go to eBay to pay $40 for a cup.
I'm going to set up a post tomorrow a few hours before midnight on the east coast with threads for questions/concerns/discussion/therapy (I really, really, really, REALLY hope it won't be as bad). Then when the individual dolls are sold, I'll keep that post updated with more threads for selling, exchanging, etc. so we don't clog up the community. If there's anything else we might need, let me know!
