Judge him, Jackie!
In series 1, there was meant to be a different episode. One that RTD purportedly axed. In it Jack finds out that the Doctor manipulated Rose's entire life to create the perfect companion for him.
I think that most would agree that this is fairly messed up (although if you don't agree, please argue your case!). So the questions are: Could the Doctor and Rose's relationship have recovered from this? Would they still have gotten as close as they did?
And a bonus question: could this storyline ever be done where things wind up okay, or is it forever doomed to be a Frankenstein-ish tragedy?
