I recommend considering what you want from life and how you'll feel at 50 or 60 reflecting back on things. If your present path might leave doubt or regret, perhaps it's time to consider a change of direction. Maybe archeology itself might not be so viable, but perhaps something else - teaching at a college or university? - might best suit you? Then, I'm only inferring you're wondering about such things in the back of that mind of yours. I might be wrong.
