Oh yeah. I finally got an Ipod. She's blue, so I named her Brienne. I know some people on my flist name their electronics. I have previously only named computers. My first laptop was a Dell named the Precious. When that betrayed me I got a sleek black, but tragically flawed HP named Elphie. When she finally fizzled out I was able to get an updated

My ipod has no name, but my shiny new laptop is Xanthe, because when I purchased her I bought her a yellow cover and Xanthe means yellow in Greek *namenerd*

Congrats on the iPod. Brienne's a good, faithful name -- may she serve you well. :D

I've only ever named one computer -- my first one, and even-then-ancient desktop that I named Cal because it had come from the junk pile at Caltech. None of my subsequent machines had enough personality to merit a name (although I do address my current-and-previous HP laptop as "that piece of crap" rather often :P). I didn't name the SanDisk Sansa because she was already named, and I continue to get a kick out of it :D
