So - yes. I just got a letter through the door that I have been turned down by the only postgraduate course I applied to this year. Yeah, I'm having an identical thought process, only with less arabic. Uh...

The idea of you as a teacher amuses me more than the idea of me as a teacher, mostly because it wouldn't be happening to me. And because you bullshit more amusingly. :D

Damn, that sucks about the postgrad thing. Always can try again another time if you find one that's appealing! (Can't you? I'm hazy on how the whole system works)

Was good seeing you at Maelstrom! Really sorry to hear about the knee though...

Sorry to hear that... Hmm... Teaching is indeed quite shiny. Ever consider writing essays for a living: apparently there's a whole internet business in it! Am contemplating selling my entire back catalog for a couple of hundred quid - each essay's worth round a fiver, and I've been churning out one a week for three years!

hmmm. The problem is, they buy them off you in order to sell them to students to pass them off as their own, which is something I'm not particularly happy with the idea of. We were told we'd be kicked off the course if we sold any of ours, or bought any... hmm.

good plan in a pinch, though.
