The whole episode is a metaphor for menarche! ...Although I'm not sure what the bit with Those Three Guys cooking the eggs was supposed to mean.

Also, I've been following your Utena and Tutu recaps for a while now, so I thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. XD Also, mind if I friend you?

I didn't know that that's what it was called, but I did figure it was something like that. Still doesn't change the fact that it just wasn't up to snuff with the rest of the series or the other 'Nanami is a Drama Queen' episodes.

I liked the episode because of how it showed Nanami's more nurturing side (despite her libby antics), and the totally offbeat conversation where Touga misunderstands her, highlighting his hypocrisy. It's probably my favorite of the Nanami crack episodes, but...hey, different strokes!

I'm looking forward to your recaps for the end of this arc, especially. *g*
