hiddenhibiscus and I were just talking, following significantowl's voice post request for musical recommendations, and ended up discussing bad songs we shouldn't like, but do.

So, time to 'fess up, my friends, and tell me what your favourite bad songs are and why you like them! Which tunes do you find yourself embarassed to be humming?

You never mentioned the Crazy Frog! *considers defriending* That's hilarious--perhaps it's easier for me to dislike it given the boys and their creative versions of the song. :))

:)) Youngest insisted it went on a compilation CD for her, and then proceeded to make sure it was in my car for a few weeks. I just could *not* get it out of my head for ages!

There are loads. Because someone on lunatunes posted it, "My Sharona" is my current ear worm. Worse yet, I kinda like it. It came out when I was the perfect age for it, but, back then, it was the Knaack who sang it, not Veruca Salt.

There are half a dozen cheesy Irish songs that camp out, like "Johnson's Motorcar" and "The Old Alarm Clock" that are fun. Once. And I still kinda like them.

I still like to sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." Oh, and "High Hopes." Captain Kangaroo lives on in my limited song repitoire!
