I've been quiet around here again, I know. I don't know why. I've got plenty to talk about. Maybe I really do have to make a promise to myself to post every single day, or else "hey, I can post a couple times a week" turns into "hey, I can post every couple of weeks." Sigh

(I LOVE her to bits. Matt Smith was always his strongest acting alongside Alex Kingston.)

Congratulations! I hope you'll find good people for your committee.
I love the Key to Time sequence SO MUCH! So many absolutely fabulous adventures!! I may like them because it was among the first Doctor Who I ever saw but I choose to believe it's because these adventures just are that good :-) With the possible exception of The Power of Krull, that one's rather dull in comparison to the others.
I stumbled upon an entry over on DW the other day that has a bunch of comments that might interest you. It's ellen_fremedon talking about which adventures of Doctors One to Four she likes best and which are good places to start for a newbie.

I think I probably have the same bias you do about the Key to Time sequence. I'd seen a couple of Tom Baker adventures before I watched it (one with Sarah Jane, "The Ark in Space"; and three with Leela, "Pyramids of Mars," "The Talons of Weng-Chiang," and "Horror of Fang Rock"), and I liked them well enough, but something really clicked for me with Four and Romana (apparently, I like Four when he's defensive and cranky, lol), and the stories were fantastic. Even "The Power of Kroll" was fun -- it was the fucking campiest DW I've ever seen, and I liked that the whole giant squid monster was the segment of the key.
Thanks for the link! I love how anybody I talk to who is into Classic Who is always eager to help others navigate things. ♥
