a smart Lost finale review

Here's a pretty balanced review of the LOST finale (from pajiba.com) that goes a long way to answering the question of why it has already been so divisive, not just eliciting extreme reactions from one person to the next but perhaps within each of us.

LMAO, yeah, I think that's what bothers me about it. I've accepted it and kind of get that this is where they had to go with it, but some part of me thinks, "If you hadn't spent so much time dicking around with the ambiguity, the 'end' would have been happening this whole SEASON and yes, the side world would have been a different thing." I think I latched onto the side-world being their second chance and that they'd kind of 'merge' and be able to live a better life after saving the island... or something.

It also makes me wonder if JJ is satisfied, seeing as he skipped off to do movies and make other shows, and I hope he leaves Fringe in better hands (so far so amazing).

I knew that you, of all people, would find coherence among the flood of emotion that the end of an era has caused. Thank you. :) And yet, I could only skim the article because I looked at the picture first, the one of Jack's closed eye, and burst into tears. I'll come back and read it properly when the flood stops. I'm a mess, luv, please come and mop me up off the floor.
