1. New Macbook arriving tomorrow (and if I miss the delivery, my ass will be going to FedEx to fetch it)!

2. Enjoying the hell out of Glee. Don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty over-hyped, but it's also pretty adorable. I kinda wanna put Rachel in my pocket and carry her around with me. :)

3. Watching too much Hell's Kitchen on Hulu. This ( Read more... )

Yay for your new macbook!

I LOVE GLEE.

I like Gordon, but after a while between HK, the F word and Kitchen Nightmares the swearing grates on my nerves and the way he talks to people calling them stupid and cows, I hate it. I like the british version a little better, but then I'm partial to Marco Pierre White anyway, he's my favorite chef.

Glee makes me smile. I need more shows like that.

No doubt, the swearing/namecalling is both mean and pretty tedious, but I don't feel too bad for those folks on his shows--they knew what they were getting into!

It's just, after a while it gets old, I've watched him for years and years, I'm a huge BBC fan, I'm just surprised that no one has punched him yet (loon from this season notwithstanding, he went off for no reason at all), i'm more amazed at the fact that all these people are cooks and can't cook. He just goes a little too far, on the hk uk, it's celebrities and marco at least feeds everyone. Gordon can be on the nasty side, making people who are tense already even more tense by calling them stupid cows and idiots...but he did get his, when Gordon was learning and stealing things like the "clean, simple, honest food" mantra from marco, marco made him cry--that's my one consolation. ;) Okay, he didn't make him, he chose to cry--as marco would put it. ;)
