I love love love this. It's almost understated, Jon's awareness of the band and how they all fit together, his place in it. I adore how well he knows Brendon and the fact that he follows this impulse and the sweet, subtle glimpse into their relationship. Gorgeously done.

I really love how quiet this is, and how it shows the way they all fit together as a band as well as the way Jon and Brendon fit together. And I also love how Jon is kind of embarrassed but not at the same time, that's so perfect.

I tend to prefer that kind of thing to the way a lot of times these guys are written as completely-sure-of-themselves foul-mouthed sex gods. Seems more realistic, I guess.
