OMG, all I did all night was slowly sip gin and tonics and watch TV. (And grade papers, lol.) It was lovely, especially after le stressful day

SPN, I like they are sort of writing the angels the way they'd act, archangels don't take snap from anyone.
Life on Mars, I watched one episode for the guest star, but I can't watch it, my love of John Simm and loyalty to him prevents me from doing it, plus, Harvey gets on my nerves sometimes and the BBC version was just it for me.
Pushing Daisies is my brain on vacation show, I can just watch it and feel the love!!
I totally get your thing about Life on Mars. I don't love Harvey so much, either, but I'm sort of enamored of Jason O'Mara, plus seeing Michael Imperioli with that terrible mustache never ceases to amuse me.
I enjoyed the angels, too, but I enjoyed even more how Dean didn't take any crap from them, either. :)
I love Pushing Daisies. It's one of my other happy places. I'm pretty much restricting myself to happy-place TV lately...and crime shows. What can I say--I like brain candy.
IDK, I kind of lost touch with it in season three. I just couldn't get into it (which was probably more about my own head than the show). Honestly, I don't watch a shit ton of TV anymore, especially when it's something heavy or that I have to watch immediately (as opposed to fluffier or more episodic stuff, like The Office or CSI), but I'm thinking I might have to make room in the schedule for SPN again. Because...wow.
Not only do I love angsty Sam, but I find this kind of religious mythology thing really fascinating. I really do think I'll have to start watching regularly again. :)
