Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.Srsly, it's like being asked to pic between ( Read more... )

You know how much I love your Understanding series. There's such an amazing slow-build of Sun and Sawyer's relationship. You don't skip through the awkward steps and all the meaningful stuff leading up to two people being together just to get them together. And that's what I love about it because it's rare.

And even if you never finish it, the journey has been more than worth it already.

Aww, babe! Thanks so much for all these nice things, especially for saying you're not pissed I never finished. It was just so...hard. GAH.

For a brief moment I thought Sam/Ellen was Sam Anders and Ellen Tigh and I was going to pee myself with excitement because I wanna read that fic. (Some kind of New Caprican, thing... Kara and Tigh all locked up and... yeah.) But I was mistaken. Boo.

:p

You're saying this to tempt/challenge me, yes?

Partially. Haha. But mostly it's because I've secretly hoped someone would write that fic for a long time. I'm pretty sure I prompted them a while back at the rounds of kink or something. Sigh. But hey, if the tempting thing works... ;)

Thanks for calling my attention to Understanding. Since Lost is the only fandom in which I follow fic, it was the only rec of yours I could read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and left you feedback on the original post. Thanks for tagging me. I recently pondered my 5 favourite fics when alliecat8 asked for them at The Quill, so I'll just re-post them here.

1. Drowning Your Sorrows by land or by Sea - This four part series written in February 2008 explores the O6’s escape, lies, and the tragic event they think happened before they left. I was way off in my theories, but I remain proud of my plot and how I pulled off the Jack/Penny pairing.

2. Guishin (Ensemble) - Four years later the ghosts still linger. This was my Sixth Sense inspired story written for the Halloween Challenge in October 2007.

3. Our Lady of the Lost and Found (Margo Shephard, Carmen Reyes) - A story from November 2007 about the kinship that comes from losing their sons.

4. You’ll Find Them Halfway Between an Inhale and Exhale - This April 2008 fic addresses Desmond and Penny’s ( ... )

Oh, I'd forgotten all about those lists for Allie! I didn't have time/attention span to read fic then, so I let them kind of float on by. Thanks so much for reposting here (and not just metaphorically thumping on the forehead and calling me a moron, lol). :)

No problem. I only mentioned Allie's list to explain why I didn't post the meme at my journal. I didn't want to be seen as making a big deal about this in two places so close together, but I also didn't want you to think I wasn't pleased to be tagged. Yup, that’s me in a nutshell, desperate to be read, but desperate not to look desperate! Feel free to back away slowly!

I never fell out of love with the show, but S4 kicks ass and takes name, I love it so. so my answer to that would be yes ;)

(Sam is even more ginormous than he was before, you'd like it!)
