An honest-to-goodness Julia Sugarbaker rant! She always starts slow and builds and builds until she goes out with a bang. And awwwwwww, defending Suzanne, who I'm sure she made feel bad earlier in the episode. Predictable but awesome! :D
THE PUPPETMASTER!!!! OMG I love you! Damn, is it me or has Tim Daly's retro hotness gone up since seeing his here-and-now, older hawtness? Plus, I actually remembered the tripping over the chairs things at the end! :D :D

Oh, it's totally not you! I was like Was Joe Hackett that hot before?!!1! Despite the 90's fashion, even. :)
I wasted so much time this afternoon scouring youtube for Julia rants; youtubers are apparently a bit more fond of Charlene's ramblings and Suzanne's insanity. I had forgotten how funny Designing Women was.
There was a lot of Joe and Helen out there. I watched the elevator proposal (*puts on super-serious Tim Daly voice* "Those are our kids; that's our marriage.") and also the time they slapped each other around with floured steaks and then made out in his kitchen. And Faye as the serial killer! LOL. I almost didn't find the Puppetmaster b/c it was labeled Joe and Helen's first kiss.
I don't know why I thought of that shit today. Just seemed the thing to do to distract myself from data entry about 1930's Home Ec pamphlets. Glad you were amused. :)
