God. I've got the scariest paper of my graduate career hanging over my head, and I literally don't have enough time to get it written, even if I spend the next two days writing nonstop(which is just not possible; my brain can only take so much), yet here I'm sitting up writing the fucking weirdest fanfic EVAR

I think your fanfic writing is like releasing steam from a pressure valve... the problem is that by doing that, the time clicks for the actual paper! yikes!

I think you're right--it's both a release and a thing that makes it worse. Silly Kate.
