He's on Private Practice (the Grey's spin-off; they snuck something like a pilot for PP into an episode of Grey's last season). His character is Pete.

Of course, in order to watch Tim Dalt be utterly fucking hot on the show, you have to suffer such things as Addison Montgomery blubbering. But I think it's worth it. ;)
