Really? We're supposed to cover him (and Mary Wollstonecraft) in my English Lit class next. We just got done with Blake, Burns and Burke and Paine.
Wait. Why am I talking about school when there's a poll? ;)
RE CSI: You see, you and my Mom both think that Sara is annoying. Me and my Dad have a bigger problem with Catherine. We hates her, we do.
RE VM: Logan hasn't really grown on me yet. But, then, I'm only about 8 episodes in to VM (school has made the going even slower) so, I'm pretty much all about Duncan and Weevil at this point. Maybe that will change, because, hell, when I first started Lost, I hated Sawyer and loved Charlie. Man. How the times change.
Me and my Dad have a bigger problem with Catherine. We hates her, we do. *joins up with you and your Dad* She always has to be the center of attention and she just seems to seethe hatred at whoever takes it away from her.
Our favorite past-time when we watch is to spend the whole episode making fun of her. We can get pretty mean, I'll admit, but we just...can't stand her.
Really? Catherine's annoying? Hmm. Interesting. She doesn't bother me. And Sara only does in the same way Meredith Grey--she acts too much like I'd probably act if I were her.
You know, I come and go with whether I like Wordsworth. It's just that teaching the Preface to the Lyrical Ballads can be slow and boring work, because Wordsworth's slow and boring (good luck, dear). I did such a bad job teaching it last year (for the first time) that I think I have like PTSD about it or something. This year's gonna go so much better. I just gave the lecture to my cat, and it sounded better anyway. ;)
I just finished teaching Blake and Wollstonecraft, too. Skipped Burns and Paine, though. It's so funny that I'm teaching basically the same class you're taking right now.
You think Grissom's annoying? I only find the lame-ass one-liners they always give him to close a scene with annoying (particularly at the beginning of an episode). You know, I probably like the idea of Grissom better than the reality of the man. He would make a person insane as a boss or a friend or, lord help us, a love interest.
But Greg... Ooh, GREG. I've developed a bit of an obsession with CSI lately (comes from having no cable and not even a local CBS on the rabbit ears for years, and now OD-ing on reruns). I just saw the one where he got beat up, and then more and more shit just keeps coming...all because he was trying to be a good guy and a hero. Poor dear. But I love him. And whether it's slashy subtext or not, I do like his interactions with Grissom. He seems to get under his skin, but there's a father-son sort of vibe there, too. I find that interesting.
I'd forgotten all about your Greg Sanders is teh sex phase. LOL. ;)
Nope, I LIKE Gil..I forgot the key word there, I like him, Sara though is annoying as all hell.
Don't worry about Greg, he actually pulls through..not like you actually see most of it, for the second half of the season it was all that freakin' "miniature murder" thing...but he's fine, of course him getting beat up almost killed me, but still, he pulled through like the trouper he is.
And phase..uh uh..the new season hasn't started yet..just wait. :)
I've always thought Gil is hot. Gil/Lady Heather is the only CSI fic I've ever read.
This is not a shock to me. ;)
You know what's funny? I'm not usually one for much kink of any sort, but I can really get into D/s Grissom/Greg or /Nick, even if it's poorly written (which it almost always is) or goes over into kinks I don't so much love (like BDSM). It just seems like such a reasonable extension of his character. For some reason, though, I've never read any fic with Lady Heather (although I know who she is).
Logan's from Veronica Mars. Imagine a sarcastic, self-destructive, and self-protective obscenely rich 17-year-old with a psychotic movie star father, a drunk and despressed mother, and a dead (murdered) girlfriend. He's as fucked up as Sawyer and Dean put together, if not more so. He's Veronica's soul mate or her worst enemy, give or take the story arc. He's rather fascinating, and he has chemistry with anything that moves.
No,don't apologize!I love it when you ramble about Lex!Noone else does and I love him:)
The show is so weirdly addictive, the best brain candy in the world. YES!Thats exactly how I feel about SV! And that is the reason I will buy all the seasons one day,b/c when life sucks SV can make your day brighter!:) I also got myself an addiction to Clex fan videos, but some are entirely too good!
usually instinctively take Lex's side. It's like you want to protect him on some level,to make people see him, completely screwed up man with a a huge heart and it's not his fault he is who he've become! S2!Every time Lionel is somewhere close you can feel Lex's pain and insecurities!Poor baby!
