Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

So, I just finished DH and I have a lot to say. I wrote it all down. But right now, I'm mostly resticted to pacing around my house shouting characters' names and crying.

I'll post more coherent stuff later. What I got for now...( SPOILERS...DO NOT CLICK IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED )

Did you think she was gonna kill Ron? That one never crossed my mind.

I figured if Harry didn't go, Ron or Hermione would, and Ron would make a bigger impact. I was going to be destroyed, so I'm quite happy about that turn of events.

Severus! *weeps* And the peek into the slow way that his and Dumbledore's relationship went from tolerance on Dumbledore's part and grief on Snape's into an actual friendship. Well done, Jo. Well done. I can't help but imagine the conversation that they must be having in the afterlife.

(Hahaha, there are already two comms for Albus Severus/Scorpius. I can only imagine that Draco's head would blow up and Harry would be delightfully smirky and amused. Or Scorpius/Rose, because Harry would completely let them hide in his house while both Draco's AND Ron's head blew up. MADE OF WIN.)

Yes, I thought the Dumbledore/Snape stuff was the most intriguing part of the book, especially since she built it so well through exploring both of their histories like that.

Lordy, those people are nuts. They've already made comms? Well, I can see the appeal, I guess. Like a super hot but not quite as evil Snape/Malfoy pairing.

WHAT YOU SAID!

That little conersation between Harry and his son about the possibility of Slytherin was the best part of that Epilogue. I'm not convinced it was all necessary, but that moment made it so worth it!

I thought Ron was going to die too. And there's a long story about misinformation in there but what it boils down to is just sheer glee that he survived!
