I love it, Alicia. So much promise and intrigue, and I really do hope you make it longer than one chapter because I am basically dying to see how Jack blackmails Blair with this little secret, or should I say big?

This was so good though and I have been anxiously awaiting this ever since you told me about it a couple of days ago. I really want to see Chuck introduced into this story. Fantastic, what else can I say? We are definitely good friends for a reason and one of the many things we bond over is the fact that I am so excited to see how they explain the Blair and Jack secret on Monday, well maybe Sunday for me. :D

Thank you Sam! I'm glad you liked it. I just really have a thing for creating dark fics, don't I? LOL! I guess I just enjoy writing the characters who are morally ambiguous or downright evil! How are you doing today? Don't you have a wedding to attend?

You know I actually really love reading your dark fics because they're so different from what I write. But then again, I enjoy anything you write. I'm actually doing really good today, I feel the happiest I have in weeks. And a couple of ideas are floating around in my head for a new fic and the ones that I am currently writing.

I am now on my way to Georgia, I just had to take my laptop with me in the car. I live in Florida and even though Georgia is the next state up, it takes six hours to get to Atlanta. So I figured that it would be wise to take my computer with me.

I'm doing well, and YAY for you getting fic ideas again. Sometimes a little break is all you need to get the creative vibes returning again. Currently, I am catching up on reading some fics that I started reading, but the authors have stopped updating them since on LJ, but have updated them several times on ff.net. That is a bit annoying in my opinion, as I never know when authors do that but found several stories with new chapters (including one with like 5 new chapters!) that I haven't read. Grrr! After that, I am working on the "Will Not Remember, Cannot Forget." I want to get past the bar scene, because I am having all kinds of ideas about the return of Evil in Eyeliner!!! *cackle*

Also, I read a spoiler for the finale concerning Blair/Jack that makes me think my Jack/Blair/Chuck fic idea is totally going to work!

Thank you, both for the lovely comment on the fic and about the icon! I had to make it a while ago to show my feelings about abandoning the B/J New Year's hookup storyline. Anyway, I am thinking I might expand this fic out into a fuller story, and if I do, I'll let you know. :D

I'm very intrigued by this story and would love if it turned in to a Work in progress instead of just a one shot. I'm not a shipper of Jack/Blair, and when the bombshell dropped about them on the show I was a little...grossed out but at the same time I can see how she may have turned to him due to his and Chuck's similarities, which I think you did a great job of showing here.

i was overjoyed when i saw that you have written a CBJ story! and reading it made me feel like that that's exactly how it would have happened -you've captured them so well. i think they could have made it into a really interesting story arc before they messed everything up by adding elle, carter, nate, and vanessa into the mix. i really hope you'll continue this - i for one would be a very keen and regular reader!

Thank you dearie! I loved the potential of the C/B/J storyline the show had, and I agree that they messed it all up. It is one of the first things I began to really hate about season two. Remember the promo showing Chuck and Jack talking about the J/B hookup? I was so pissed when they cut that scene! THAT had the potential to be a triangle of epic proportions, but instead they gave us C/B/N... again. *snooze* At least there was chemistry between Blair and Jack, wrong though it was! When will the show ever learn? Anyway, I am fairly certain that this is going to become the start of a larger fic. I have been getting ideas for it all day, so keep a lookout for it! :D
