were you looking at Geek Squad to repair it? they were bought by best buy and now that they aren't independent, they suck you for all you're worth.

glad to hear a mom-and-pop was able to fix it for you for less. that's the way to go :)

I'm going to try to get the $25 diagnostic fee back, because I'm willing to drag them into court alleging that they could have found this and didn't. They can use the "we're incomptent, not malicious" defense -- at least it's gotten the President this far -- but I want to hear it from their lips.
