The First Joke?
Earlier this month, my daughter made fun of my age. However, she did it by paraphrasing Bluey, so it wasn't original. Last week, Birdie made what I believe was her first original joke. Here it is:
Birdie: Daddy, where do dinosaurs go?
Me: I don't know, where do dinosaurs go?
Birdie: Dinosaurs go RAWR!!!
That's a pretty solid joke for a 3.5 year old. I'm not completely sure she meant it as a joke, because she was very serious throughout, but I laughed. Given my general distaste for standup, this was no small accomplishment.
