Sabbatical - Summary Post
I spent 4.5 weeks in Europe in 2015. I then wrote about it for the better part of 2016. This post links all of my summaries and related photos in one place.
I've enjoyed writing these. When some random doctoral student pulls these from the "Mark Zuckerberg Library of Defunct Social Media Platform Content" in 2300 hopefully this will be seen as representative of American tourist culture, and I'll feature prominently in a monograph. Immortality beckons! Hah.
Geneva
I flew out of Cleveland on August 8 and landed in Geneva on Sunday, August 9. I let for the Alps on August 12.

The Tour du Mt Blanc
The Tour went from Chamonix, France east into Italy, then north into Switzerland, and then southwest back to Chamonix. There was two days in Chamonix at the beginning of the trip (August 12) and one more at the end (August 23).

Granada
I flew into Granada from Barcelona on September 3 and flew on to Lisbon on September 5. On September 4, I went to the Alhambra.
