House Concert Updates - Jeremy Messersmith Canceled and Matt Pond PA Scheduled!
First off, a quick review of the Jeremy Messersmith show in my house on September 14. Sadly, it will be quick because it was cancelled. Advance ticket sales were abysmal, presumably because it was on a Monday night, so Jeremy's team pulled the plug on the show. This is disappointing, but such is life. In our defense, we did suggest that Monday night would be a tough sell.
In better news, Matt Pond PA had such good time playing my living room this past summer that we're doing it all again. On Thursday, October 1 Matt Pond PA will be playing a gig in my living room. Unlike the last time, this gig requires an advance ticket; follow this link for more details.
There is a limited number of tickets, and unlike the ill-fated Messersmith gig this show is selling very well. We had 37 people in attendance last time and based on advance sales we'll easily reach our cap of 40. If you want to go, buy a ticket ASAP or you may be shut out.
Fun fact: Ed booked this show (with my permission of course) while I was in Europe. If you have someone you'd like to get into my living room, let me know. I don't want to do it all the time, but a few times a year it is lots of fun!
