Favorite Books Revisited

So quite some time ago I asked people what their favorite books were, so that I could read them. Allow me to circle back.

At the time of the post I was reading theferrett's favorite, The Pillars of the Earth. It is quite easily the best of the dozen or so Ken Follett novels I have read. I strongly recommend it for those who like historical fiction. At the ( Read more... )

I loved the namesake. I am currently reading the Dresden files but will check out the other book by Jhumpa Lahiri that you mention. I recommend the God of Small Things. Don't recall the author but recall enjoying it.

It did; it is not the most riveting read ever but by about book 4 I was hooked and willing to read all of them. They are not as good as the Codex Alera books (same author) which had me hooked from the beginning.
