OH oh WOW! I just loved every single word you typed!

Beautiful and evocative and such a well needed coda to that ep! I loved sams reliance on his big bro (despite his own issues) and how Dean did what he always does. Take care of sam. I also found it weird how there was nary a mention of sam getting his balls handed to him in that ep by a little girl. DUDE! I rewinded that part *cough* too many times! :-)
Great ending. the blanket, 1/2 nakie sammy and just the solitude of the forest around them. BEAUTIFUL!
This story totally appealed to the warped side of me that thrives on the codependancy of these two strapping young men.

Its the instances where the brother/father/mother/lover vibe gets blurred btw sam and dean that I just ADORE! not too many fics touch on that..in your case it was subtle and not directly addressed, which made it all the warmer as it flowed throughout the story...

I didn't think this was short or crappy...you should have more faith in the beautiful way you write. Not to mention that the imagery you created here, with Dean looking after his Sammy, was also hot.

The ice inside him was melting mercilessly as it slithered down further and further. He wanted it out, he needed more in… God… Sam didn’t know what he wanted anymore.
