So we all know whats going on with LJ by now, and we all know how fucked up and made of fail it is. So I will be brief.

Anyone who crossposts anything I write on LJ, whether in my journal or in their own, to Facebook or wherever, will be removed from my friends list. Period. I don't want to lock my journal and make it friends-only, but I will if I ( Read more... )

You can disable the cross posting. At least, it removes the little selection areas.

Ive done that, but it only disables the feature on your own layout. If someone views your entries in their own layout style they can still use the cross posting feature.

That's Open Graph for you! Gosh do I dislike that idea.

On a lot of journals it's graying the options out for me-- like on yours, it says "Repost to" but then there's not even anything there.

However, it is letting me post from my Facebook account rather than logging into LJ, which I think is an entirely different can of worms. (And THAT is truly Open Graph-- this LJ thing is something different, technically.)

It's grayed out because I disabled it in the CSS. That will stop most people. However anyone who views my journal entries in their own layout can still use it.

Huh. I didn't know that they had done that. I need to pay a little more attention to what's going on in the LJ world. It's kind of messed up that we have to worry about this as well.
