Yeah, the foreclosure, good times! But, it was part of a bigger, better plan, so it's all good.
"Pockets" is your best friend...guess I'll slink away and cry!!! *just kidding*
We've been thru so much, for so long, you're not getting rid of me THAT easy!

So...DWR, I have another friend with that moniker, but it stands for Dances With Rattlesnakes, and he gave it to himself.

I'm good with "Gypsy" and you were the first to call me that. Thanks, Rubybythelightofthesilverymoon.

Well, geez - back in the day, we were allowed to have more than one "best friend." You've got Rosario, so needle, needle. LOL! And of course you already know I NEVER want to get rid of you, darling Gypsy. My fear is that you'll eventually have no need for me anymore and I'll be the friend out in the cold... But this is all silly. We both know the bonds are strong between us. For which I will always be grateful. Love you, my precious Gypsy. (Um, DWR used to stand for "Dances with Roy" back in the day when LFN was popular. Now, it's my radio guy.)

You will always be my Gypsy. And I will always love you.

I'll borrow a little slice of this;
I have one friend I've known for over 40 years,and while I was living with him and his family in Carson City he was in a phase where he wore a brown leather stroker cap;one day I referred to him as the "Flyin' Dutchman" while talking to the guy across the street. He heard it,and from then on,he was "Dutchman". I was surprised to learn that a lot of his acquaintances,even years later,still don't know his name-he's always been Dutch to them.
BTW-not long after that,he nicknamed me "Speed King",in reference to the song "Speed King" by Deep Purple,which,for some reason,reminded him of me. (??)When I tell people I'm Speed,I always have to also say it relates to my driving style back then,not drugs.
Hi Claire!

This is the first I knew of your nickname for him, and his for you! Sometimes I catch myself calling him "Dutch." I'm glad I know his real name, and glad he's my "other brother." Wow - what a revelation. Shows how you never really know someone...
