That was interesting to read. I want to leave you an interesting reply because of it, but I've got nothing. :)

I don't want to talk about myself. But I guess I have been this whole time anwyay except for the first sentence! Oh well.

It was still interesting tho.

Jesse, I don't expect a Vaudeville act from you every time you post! *g* If you don't want to respond, don't respond. It's that simple. LJ is about picking and choosing what we want to address, and whether or not we want to engage. Most times, after I've read someone else's posts, I'll start a response and then stop in the middle of it and just delete it. Not wanting to engage.

I love freedom of choice!

(And sometimes, if I want to acknowledge that I've read the post but don't want to respond, I'll just comment, "Never mind.")

haha

I do that sometimes, too, but then I feel bad for deleting what I wrote!

Well, I wanted to just say it was interesting, but if all I'd said was 'Interesting!' then I was worried you might say, "Okay, well what does he mean by that?"

Or maybe you wouldn't, I don't know. I did think it was interesting, and wanted to tell you so, but I wanted to have something a little more interesting to say myself than just that! :)

Ann,
i remember the house and the guy. He was a good looking guy. Remember we walked and watched the 4th of July fire works. It was the first time I had went to see them and from that time on I have yet to see better fire works then what Elko Nevada puts on EVERY YEAR. Brian drags me to Blanding Utah to see there tiny crappy show every year. He insist that we will be going there befor Elko. I will get him one year.
We are planning on being to the Jamboree this year. I will email you with more details on that.
Love and hugs to you
Sone

Yeah, that was Kent. Nickname "Bones" because he was so skinny. I'm not sorry for making the break in the first place, or for trying to go back and explain a few things.

I can't wait to see you - the Jamboree is coming up in June (which reminds me - last time I visited the website, there was really nothing going on! Who's the band this year? If it isn't BTO, I prolly won't even bother...)

Love you, darling Sone!

Sorry-I just had to share this;I was listening to the Jimmy Fallon show while checking my email and reading this thread, and heard him mention A guy imprisoned in Indonesia being released. They found out he was imprisoned because of a typo;turns out he only ROPED a cow...and now, back to the news ( ... )

I love that Jimmy Fallon thing - a typo...

I went to the Mo-Jam website and found out that Uncle Kracker will be the headliner. He and Kid Rock are pretty tight. I read his blog, and he seems pretty down-to-earth and reachable. Maybe he'll work out at the Jamb. I was going to post something, but I had to register first, and by the time I got the answering e-mail to activate my account, the fit hit the shan at work and I was too busy to follow-up...

I don't know much about his music, but if he's willing to have fun with the crowd and stick around to explore Elko, he'll do just fine. I STILL think Bachman/Turner Overdrive was the best - I can look at my palms and remember the bruises from clapping my hands so hard. BTO was awesome.
