Happy 80, Viggo!

Feb 25, 2010 18:22

My precious ex-brother-in-law, viggovvv, turns 80 years old tomorrow. I can't be there for the festivities (I have to work) but Bro is making the trip. I'ma send my digital camera with him to get pictures of all the riotous fun.

Have a wonderful burfday, Viggo, and many more! *hugs you*

Hi Sweets,
James will be fine. We will make sure he is eating right and taking care of the necessary things health wise. I was holding on to a little bit of hope that you might have snuck in the Bronco with him and surprise us with you being with him. Brian put it into my head. It is so good to see James though. I rode with him from our meeting point back to the house. i told him that the Bronco smelt like Elko. I miss that place soooo bad.
Any way i have to get ready for work.
Early day today
Hugs and loves

Glad he made it there okay - he was a little nervous about it, because he hadn't taken the Bronco any farther than Carlin (about a twenty-minute drive) and wasn't sure what it would do.

I wish I could be there for all the fun, but I had to work until five today. The money's good, but I think six days a week will probably take its toll on me before too long... Anyway, hug extra-tight on your dad for me, 'kay? And Brian, and Eric, and Shanda, and Austin, and everyone else.

Love you big,
Auntie

Yay! I wish him excellent mental, physical and emotional health. There is no greater asset or treasure than an elder.

Hi, jesse_dylan, and welcome to my journal! You're so right about treasures, and Viggo is a special one. He was heavily involved in building Trolley Square in Salt Lake City many years ago, and he's an excellent woodworker. He built the cradle that my niece Sonja (whose comments are scattered throughout this journal) was rocked to sleep in when she was a baby. I just love the heck out of him!

Very cool, and thank you for the welcome, and welcome to mine, too. :) I had enjoyed reading your comments on Shaido's journal for so long, and I thought goodness, it's about time we became friends. :)
