I had a Latin project.

It was to write a poem in the style of Catullus 43. Needless to say, it's bitchy.

I really hate badfic, if you couldn't guess )

newO: Some people in my history class came up with the idea of "history spoilers"
me: what?
newO: like when Mr. Bello told us that Louis XVI would get executed

...

yeah. Oh, btw, the other question was a reference to the newO cousin.

Catullus filk, edepol! I approve!

Teensy nitpick:
"Nor characters not acting as they would not"

Double negatives are not uncommon in Latin poetry, but never forget not to count how many negatives you have to ensure that you don't come out positive. ;)

Heh. That's one cool Latin project, even if I'm quite glad I never had to do anything like that for Latin.

(I mean, Catullus is way cool and all, but ... writing like a very cool author does not sound like a fun homework-assignment to me.)

And yeah, I'm a bit slow today but wow, you even made it rhyme. *_*

Ah, Catullus. Mrs Thorpe spent three years telling us how cute Catullus's poem about the sparrow was, and then we read it this year in IV-V, everyone's brain EXPLODED!!
