So how are you doing with the panic inducing email from steveb? Or are you in the core business side that moves under Qi?

I'm really not quite sure what to think of it.
I have had my Director, and now our VP leave as well as some other high level folks leave our ORG in the last 6 months. No he says he is going to decentralize us and move us under Qi.. I have never felt secure in my 8 years here, but I have never felt like I didn’t trust our leadership. Over the past year I have grown to distrust our leaders and Steve in particular. I have always felt like I will stay here until I retire, now I’m not so sure.

Time will tell what happens, but I do not trust that Steve will make a good decision, it seems he isn’t very good at that lately.

I think moving under the OSD org might not be that bad, but this sort of random moving around is not doing anything for employee morale and trust, like you say. I agree with most everything you said about the higher management and especially SteveB.

My team is hit a whole lot worse. We come under the Tier 2 org that the email mentioned and we have no idea what that means. It was a surprise even to our GM, which isn't very comforting.

Ran into a guy in Tier 2 at lunch and he was expressing the same feelings you are. This type of thing always affects us negatively to a certain degree no matter how positive we try and stay. Especially now with the layoff stuff that has happened and the (I’m my opinion lame) justifications thereof at the company meeting.
I'm its really tough running a company of this size but I really wonder at times what the real motivations of some of the decisions are. Mostly because you here them and you think, WTF? I don’t recall feeling that way with Bill. I do have those feelings with my MGMT chain fairly regularly recently though.

Hang in there, I hope you all land on your feet, us too!

A few folks I know have recommended/pointed out The Red King to me before. I may try to make this show. This is of course to say, I have yet to see you guys in concert as I've failed each time before.
