I never shipped Elena/Rebekah, but this story might just make me. I think your characterizations (Rebekah in particular) are spot on - her frustration about how everything is about Elena, and of course she'd take this chance to toy with Elena if it presented itself. Such a wonderfully written, clever and hot little fic - brilliant!

So the show went with Damon/Rebekah hatesex, but this way, Elena/Rebekah hatesex makes so much more sense.
