Not Terribly Happy with HP

I'm on my 2nd HP laptop, ordered this one directly from them. It arrived, I tried to power it up and got - nothing. So I called them to see what I could work out. What I got was a guy for whom I don't think English was even his second language. Kept trying to tell me that they didn't show that I had a computer with that serial number registered. Duh - I can't get it to even turn on, how can I register it? I finally hung up on him after spending half an hour attempting to explain this, and called sales instead of customer disservice. Very nice woman who might even live in the US, worked everything out to ship it back, had the new one by the end of the week, has worked just fine since. Well, as just fine as any computer ever does for me. I'll probably replace it with another HP someday. I feel for you dude! POMC.
