So, lately I've not had a lot to do at college. We had a "reading week" that was a bit of a joke, since we didn't have any reading to do. The workshops were, however, open as usual, so I went in a couple of days and played around with some stuff. I've only got photos of one of the things, though; a forged copper spoon. Aaah, it's copper.

For some reason, when I saw pictures of it before, I thought it was a wooden spoon; but that doesn't make a lot of sense for a metalworking class ;)

How big is it? Ladle or teaspoon?

About three inches long.

(It does say in the text ;) But then, I always fail to notice things when I read too, so I can't really say anything! ;)

Did you wax it after polishing? I have several very dull copper pieces that I made years ago (which I didn't wax) and a few really shiny ones (that I did wax). Waxing makes a HUGE difference...
