After much cajouling and general poking with sticks I have finally convinced work to let me go to a convention in Las Vegas at the end of May.

I have to travel cattle class for once :-0 but I can stay for a few rest days afterwards to do a bit of shopping/gambling/chasing after showgirls.

I added up all my Birthday cash and it seems that we can afford to go on holiday now, so we might be heading back to a cabin in Canada again this year, any of my canadian chums know what it's like out in the forests in Northern Ontario around June? Will we be harassed by frisky bears, frozen to death during the night or eaten alive by mossies?

the owners want to move out as soon as possible so we could be moving in about 6 weeks time, we already have the Champagne chilling for when the paperwork is done and the contracts are exchanged.
