I know what he looks like actually, I am all for the idea of fair play, especially in a sport like cricket but I do think that the whole concept of bring the game into disrepute in regards to having a test cancelled and a player suspended is a bit out of the question.

Compare this to the 2006 FIFA World Cup where one of the Italian players told Zidane (FIFA Player of the Year and star French player) that he hopes his sick mother and the rest of his family dies a horrible death.

While India are in the wrong, I personally see it highly minor to really bother so much sports news and coverage about compared to far more interesting sports stories that are floating around.

You asked why 'monkey' was a racial slang term used against us. I replied because Symonds is not the typical looking caucasian Australian, and that is perhaps why the term was used. You didn't ask a question to go into further babble.

Monkey is a very old and well known racist way of describing black people. If you look at old racist cartoons and caricatures they all depict black people as comical monkeys, the insinuation being they aren't as developed or civilised as whites and are still monkeys that haven't evolved.

About the dvd region problem, if she can play dvds on her computer, all she need do is download a program called VLC Media Player, it can play all regions and is probably the best program I've found on the internet.Otherwise if you want to take it a step further, sometimes if you call the company that made your dvd player and ask for an unlock code they will give it to you, either that or look it up online. :]
