Formula Fail

As soon as I got my tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix I was mega excited, the excitement has faded a little bit from the intial spontaneous, omg, I can't believe this is happening. I was fearing there would be a downside to bite me in the ass in regards to staying there besides the cost and not being able to work and make money over there ( Read more... )

I only watch the start of last night.
When you see it in real life its totally differnent. On telly you don't appreciate the speed and the noise, like rev limitter going off. On telly they sound great but add the missing bits like a conventional engine and it really is good. Just make sure you wear ear protection if up near the fence it is unbearable. Oh and pack your camera we want photos :)

Oh, there's one thing I've been told and that's basically nobody can really explain the experience until you're really there. I remember being wowed when I heard what the Rally and Air Race sounded like in real life compared to the relatively monotone sounds that eventually end up being played on the TV.

I'll be bringing my ear plus and packing a camera, although I did a pretty horrid job at the air race so I don't know how I'll go with the F1 race but I'll give it a shot.
